The Fight For Survival

Dr. Ruben Kalra recently joined the founder and CEO of Neurovations, Dr. Eric Grigsby to share timely and relevant tips on how to stay afloat as an independent medical practice during COVID-19.

“The Fight for Survival” focused on telehealth strategies for patient and practice reimbursement and included the prudent monitoring of patients at risk of SUD.

As one of the first telehealth practices to implement telelheath, Dr. Kalra shared important resources on denial and payment review. He also included tips on how to implement behavioral health integration from home that remains HIPPA compliant though Well Brain.

WellBrain, a digital chronic pain management and addiction prevention platform is designed by doctors, for busy doctors. WellBrain’s founding Stanford, Harvard, and Mayo Clinic trained physicians were impacted daily by the lack of solutions for their patients. They designed WellBrain to help providers assess, engage and monitor patients’ physical and mental health over time and to make informed decisions about their care.

Dr. Grigsby launched the Napa Pain Institute in 1992 and went on to create a patient care and innovation company that includes clinics, laboratories, surgeries, and research and education divisions.  He shared some of the tough data from pain providers across the United States, but also provided valuable advice on how to seek various grants to stay afloat during these challenging times.
